Day 133 Baluran, Java to Lovina, Bali
Heavy rain last night with some serious thunder & lightning continued this morning stopping our morning nature walk plans, but while sitting reading my book I looked up out at the water a saw the monitor lizard swimming past in the water. We booked a van back to the park entrance at 8am but with all the rain it took nearly 3hours to get here and it was a slow trip back out of the park the road was quite cut up, on the trip out we saw more monkeys, deer & pea foul. The bus to Banawangi took us from the entrance to 20mins down the road where we were forced to change in to a very overcrowded bus for the last 10mins to the Bali ferry. On the ferry nobody asked for payment so we had a free ride across to Bali a short distance but the tide was ripping through so all the boats struggled. The bus from there to Lovina on the North coast took 2 hours and Eliane stayed with us there where we found accommodation for 50,000IR each just 2minutes walk from the beach.
