Day 129 Jogja to Mt Bromo

Collected at 8am in the nice new mini-bus we set off on the 11 hour trip to Mt Bromo. We passed Mt Merpati which was steaming a little along the way. We both read for most of the trip it was better not to watch the road.
At Probolingo we were dropped at another tour company who handled the clients from there onwards, they were not happy with us when we refused to book a sunrise jeep ride, buy an onward ticket or pay the park entrance fee to them, we knew it could all be done up the mountain for less. We changed to a dodgy old mini-bus for the trip up the mountain but it was fine and we found a hotel no problem but very expensive at 170,000IDR per room.
