Day 127 Dieng Plateau to Jogja

Up early for the sunrise view over the mountains...Nope too cold stayed in bed. We did get out after breakfast and started a suggested walk which takes in a couple of small temples, lakes and a bubbling mud pool.
The walk we did was about 20km and firstly to a lake which was clear and this being an active volcanic area had bubbling parts and a strong sulphur smell. We then saw mud pits much like those in Rotorua a couple of more small temples and a bit of a walk to the next lake which wasn't amazing just a small lake.
Then the rain came firstly just a little then a little more so we got a bus back in to the town and the real rain came, the street turned in to a river, the roof in our hotel leaked like a sive, buckets & mops came out and a small bit of water came in under the doors too.
We got the public bus down the mountain then a friendly guy on the bus helped us to our minibus to Jogja & we got back to our hotel in Jogja at 9pm after doing a lap of the city for an hour dropping people off.
