Day 9 Beijing to hangzhou

Bullet train today!
For breakfast we found the worlds smallest McDonalds seating 8 people and didn't serve food only drink when we arrived at Beijing South Station so we left & had breakfast at yet another Starbucks ripoff called SPR Coffee.
Just watching Chinese cartoons while writing this and Jackie Chan made yet another appearance in a very random place.
It was -19 when we left Haerbin yesterday, -7 when we arrived in Beijing & 1deg when we left, warming to 10deg when we arrived in Hangzhou this evening. A very welcome 29deg rise!
As we made our way south today at 300km/hr the scenery of trees white with permafrost, brown fields and frozen rivers became running rivers and slightly greenish fields then as we got closer to Shanghai(which we might get back to) the rows on rows of 20 story apartment blocks became visible through the smog, that's where they hide the 23million locals. From Shanghai it was 30mins on our bullet train to Hangzhou where will tour for the next few days.
