Beijing day 3

Today was the day to check out the wall!
Got our breakfast and lunch in the morning some tasty biscuits and some pastry things
Got the underground to the bus station & the bus was about an hour.
We could see areas of the wall while driving up to it on the bus. It is just massive.
Got to the base of the wall and started our climb.it was very windy which made it difficult in some areas and bloody cold!
We climbed to the highest tower before it started to go down the other side of the mountain.
Waited ages for a bus but eventually got on one but it didn't start to move until an hour later. This finished us off as we were left sitting in the bus freezing with the door open for an hour!
Once we got back we went for food near our hostel. Got some lovely pear tea with flowers, pears and other goodies in it- very tasty
I ordered some noodles and Tim ordered a chicken dish which looked more like tofu rather than chicken!
We are getting a train to harbin tomorrow at 2pm arriving in Harbin very late.
