A bus trip today, only 3 hours west of Hangzhou towards mt Huangshan all pleasant no problems. Didn't have any issues getting tickets even though we were told we might.
Arrived in Tunxi and got the bus to the train station stop which was near our hostel. We missed our stop(this seems to happen a lot) but between the driver and some locals trying to help we got there eventually!
Dinner was a Lonely Planet recommendation in an old part of the city. A guy in a monk like uniform showed us the food being prepared in the open kitchen with samples of each dish layed out. We had to write what we wanted on a sheet and take a seat. The 100 odd dishes to choose from were All in Chinese but luckily another chinese customer saw our issue and translated the few we liked. We also selected our drink from all kinds of juices, teas, beers & smoothies. Very busy spot 200-300 people, which means great food. We walked the old town for a little while but tim's cold had come back a bit worse this time so we went back to the hostel and to bed.
Early start tomorrow, up at 5.45 for our bus to the mountain!
