Yea the night on a seat in the train is rough we will do our best to
avoid having to do that again but should be ok now that their holiday
period is ending.
Arriving in Chengdu we checked in to the hostel got some info and
ruled out a trip into Tibet after seeing horrendous pricing for
tours,which you must have organised to gain entry to tibet,then
organised our travels which took us all over the city, firstly south
to tourist bus station to book the bus to Jiuzhaigou the day after
next then to the very north back to the train station to book our
train to Kunming a sleeper for 18hours on the 17th-Nice! And only 20
beds were left on the train this far out.
Having everything booked we checked out the central square not so much
there and got a photo with Mao before calling it a day.
