Day 34 Guilin

After our little wonder yesterday were we expecting much, no but through the misty drizzly day after walking the small lakes and deciding they could be nicer in summer and skipping the 14th century village because it was twice the advertised price we went to the 'seven stars park' also nearly twice the price but with wild monkeys who cares!
The park again probably best in the summer was really nice separated from the city by a river round the 137 hectare area with caves, grass areas, a temple, a market, waterfalls, bottle feed goldfish(see pic), karst peaks(one called camel see pic) and of course some wild monkeys made for a nice afternoon.
While walking the shops today we found phone city, maybe 200 shops all selling 2nd hand mobile phones, bits to fix them, covers for them and home phones too. Rachel was happy to see her phone model for €100 more than she paid.
For dinner we had dumplings and the local style noodles with a bit of veg, a couple more items to add to the 'I've seen that' list horse meat and pig brains were on their menu.
Back in the hostel/hotel the computer has been running for a couple of days now uploading our more than 2000 photos of the 1st month and sometime tonight we will hit the halfway mark! But now I have this and that all sync'd and do a more regular upload it should be the best & cheapest way to save pictures as we travel.
