Day 100! Worlds Biggest Flower

Took the Old bus out to the new bus terminal at 7:30am & got dropped at the wrong station so a taxi to the new one got us there just in time to meet the 8:15 bus to Lundu 2hrs away. In Lundu we got to Gunung Gading National Park and took a guide(A must) for the short walk to the Rafflesia flower in bloom. We saw two, the one we could stand over was 66cm across and the other was just opening but on top of a rock too big to climb.
As we finished with the flowers it started raining and it was torrential for an hour as we walked on a rough trail up a hill in to the jungle. We stopped at 3 waterfalls, when we took a break at the second one with our yellow ponchos on we attracted bright yellow butterflies. At the 3rd waterfall I rinsed my dripping wet(from sweat) t-shirt and myself in the water which was quite cool. The total return trip took about 4.5hours, then back on the 4pm bus to Kuching.
